 "We have used Hummel Construction for two major projects. The first was converting an existing attached garage into a master suite, new roof on our house, some window trim and decorative rockwork, and building a stand-alone garage with a studio second floor. We met with Jeff about our needs and felt comfortable enough with his commitment, that we went south for the winter while the work was done. He sent photos almost daily on progress and any questions. He asked questions to assure we ended up with exactly what we wanted. It was so exciting to come back and see the amazing transformation of our home. He anticipated any bottlenecks and acted prior to them becoming an issue. I had a vision for our new master bathroom and Jeff's sub-contractor's did an amazing job on tile, heated floors and fixtures. The whole crew was professional, timely and polite, all while respecting our budget. 

The second project was a long needed replacement of the windows on our original house of 30+ years. Again, the talented crew was respectful of my needs. In addition to the windows, I had a wooden ceiling removed, downlights installed and new sheetrock installed. The sub-contractors, again, were top notch. 

We were so happy with Hummel Construction that we called them in a sort of emergency. A family member had suffered a stroke during the winter while out of the area. Their bedroom in their local home was on the second floor, making it impossible for them to return to their home. Jeff and crew responded quickly to our request. Jeff worked with the owners discussing their needs and budget. They added a master bedroom, handicapped bathroom and entrance with a ramp to their home, enabling them to return to their lake home for the summer.
